We Do Know How You Feel

As a career paramedic with years on the front lines, I've lived the relentless stress, burnout, and trauma that comes with the job. Sleepless nights, high-stakes decisions, and the emotional weight, it all adds up.

That's why I created Walking Away from Stress, to offer a path to healing through the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. Based on pilgrim surveys:

· 58.06% report improved mental health and emotional well-being.

· 41.94% experience general mental health gains, like stress relief and resilience.

· 29.03% find relief from burnout; 17.74% address past trauma or PTSD.

Walk with a small group of peers (max 5) in a supportive environment. Guided by me, Lucy Farrant, a seasoned paramedic and Camino expert, this 14-day journey fosters reflection, community, and self-discovery. "The Camino helped me overcome suffocating grief... allows an introspection like none other." – Pilgrim Testimonial
