f you want a stress free, fun and restorative camino but don’t want the hassle of having to organise it yourself, then you’re in the right place. You could spend hours researching the best route, the coolest places to stay and scour the web for the insider tips but who has time for that?
I walked the Camino del Norte and the Camino Primitivo with Lucy in early Summer 2025 and I can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing trips I have ever done. Lucy took care of everything, from airport transfers to packing lists, to ideas for spending lazy afternoons in sleepy rural towns to organising meals and luggage transfers, I didn’t have to stress about anything, it was all taken care of.
Lucy has built up many years’ experience of leading people on caminos and it shows in the meticulous way she planned every detail. Lucy is a born leader and was always available to provide advice whilst at the same time, give me the space to walk my camino, my way. I would highly recommend ‘Walking Away from Stress’ to anyone who wants to take the first step to a transformative experience.

After more than 20 years working as a paramedic, I walked both the Camino Portuguese and Camino Francis with Lucy Farrant, creator of Walking Away From Stress. The Camino was genuinely restorative in a way I had never expected.
Lucy creates a safe, compassionate space where there is no pressure to perform, explain, or “fix” anyone. The rhythm of walking, the gentle support of feeling part of a Camino Family, and Lucy’s calm, guidance allowed me to reconnect with myself, and find a sense of peace and joy I thought I’d lost.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone living with burnout or PTSD, especially those from high-stress caring professions. It’s not just a walk. Lucy is not just a guide. Walking the Camino Portuguese is a profound step toward healing, clarity, and hope.
